Linguist Geoff Nunberg on acronyms

If you listen to Terry Gross on Fresh Air at all you recognize the name Geoff Nunberg. I find his commentaries on language always surprise me. I guess it has to do with the fact that languages and the history of words is something I was never able to get my arms around in school.
